PAX was great this year. I got to grab a copy of Battletech Aces: Scouring Sands, and trade in all my extra Gothic Atlas’s for individual mechs of my choice from Catalyst’s drop bin. Grabbed some clan patches and a few Visigoth salvage boxes too.
Picked up copies of Fallout the RPG by Modiphius, along with their Mass Effect board game. All of these were then signed by Mark Meer! Aka Commander Sherpard, and/or Max Rads! What a great guy, watching him dress up in his Max Rad’s costume and play the Fallout RPG live on a stage in front of an audience was great! We need to get this guy a game or show cameo stat! The character is way too good to not see prime time!
We got the Halloween expansion for Heroes of Barcadia, as well as the Booze Ooze additions, and the Voodoo Ranger extra. I would like to say that Rollacrit also replaced my Bag of Holding with a slipped zipper from last year free of charge, right there on the spot! Wonderful customer service!
I also grabbed some Call of Cthulhu keeper cards from Chaosium for quick reference to items, and other random in game things. So all in all it was a good time. If only I could have found someone to actually play a game of Battletech: Alpha Strike against… Oh well… I Guess Battletech Aces: Scouring Sands will have to do.
