I just recently got into the BattleTech video game scene. The HBS strategy version has been fun, and Clans seems okay, but I really love MechWarrior 5: Mercenaries. I know some people don’t find it as deep or engaging, but with a few mods, and all the dlc it really starts to shine in my eyes. I also prefer a sandbox experience over story based ones.
